Sivaratri Puja
February 26 @ 19:30 - 20:00
Virtual Event
Join Swami Shambhu for this puja in honor of Maha Shivaratri, a sacred Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Shiva. Celebrated annually on the 14th night of the waning moon in the month of Phalguna (February-March), Maha Shivaratri, known as “The Great Night of Shiva,” symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and serves as a powerful occasion for spiritual growth. Devotees observe fasting, chant sacred mantras like “Om Namah Shivaya,” and perform ritual worship of the Shiva Linga with offerings of milk, water, and bel leaves. Many stay awake all night in meditation and prayer, seeking Lord Shiva’s blessings for inner peace, wisdom, and liberation (moksha). This auspicious night is a profound reminder to rise above worldly distractions and connect deeply with the divine.
