How your information is used and protected
SwamijiDas is an AI companion created to support students of the Make It Personal program with Swami Shambhudevananda of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center.
What we collect
When you join the program, we collect information you choose to share — including your name, WhatsApp number, current practice, goals, and spiritual questions. You decide what to share. Nothing is required beyond your name and contact details.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to personalize your experience with SwamijiDas — to suggest practices, help form sankalpas, and support your journey between sessions. It is never used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to your spiritual practice.
How it is protected
Your data is stored securely and accessible only to the program administrators. Conversations are processed through Claude AI by Anthropic, who do not use your data to train their models. Your WhatsApp number is never shared with any third party.
WhatsApp conversations are subject to Meta’s own privacy policy. SwamijiDas uses the WhatsApp Business API to communicate with you.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by messaging SwamijiDas: “delete my data.” We will confirm deletion within 24 hours. You may also stop receiving messages at any time by replying “stop.”
